There are lots of things you can do to help stop the destruction of the rain forest! First off always remember the three R's ,reduce, reuse and recycle! Also something as simple as don't buy exotic pets that may have been illegally taken from the rain forest! An example of some of these animals could be some types of monkeys, make sure you look into the back ground of the pet before you purchase it! Also what you can do to help is when your parents are buying wood furniture make sure they investigate the source of the wood. If it is tropical wood it would not be a good idea because you would be supporting the people who cut down the trees in the rainforest. Last but not least buy food which is grown in an environmentaly friendly way!
